# Interviewing as a Freelancer on WorkGenius

You’ve applied for a job, and the client would now like to get to know you better through a virtual interview. With our interview feature, it’s easy to schedule your interview through the WorkGenius platform in just a few simple steps.

#### Here’s how the interview process through the WorkGenius platform works:

**Receive an Interview Request**

The client can request an interview with you through their WorkGenius account and will provide potential interview times for you to choose from.

**Review the Proposed Times**

Once the client has entered their proposed times, you’ll receive an email notification prompting you to review the available options and select the time that works best for you.

**Suggest Alternative Times (if necessary)**

If none of the proposed times work for you, you can suggest alternative times directly through the platform. The client will be notified of your proposed times. We recommend providing several options across different days to help find a time that works for everyone as quickly as possible.

**Confirm Your Interview**

Once a time has been confirmed by both you and the client, you’ll receive a confirmation email that includes a Zoom link for the interview.

*IMPORTANT: Be sure to add the interview to your calendar so you don’t forget or accidentally miss your scheduled interview.*

**Access the Meeting Link**

You can access the interview details and Zoom link at any time through your confirmation email or directly from your WorkGenius dashboard.

**Please note:** Not all clients use the interview scheduling feature within the WorkGenius platform. In some cases, a recruiter may coordinate the interview with the client on your behalf. If this is the case, you’ll typically receive a calendar invitation once the interview time has been finalized.
