Submit payment requests
With payment requests, you can easily bill for the hours you worked. Use our integrated timesheet system to record work hours, share them with clients, and submit timesheets as soon as possible, for even faster payment.
Here’s how it works:
- Go to your WorkGenius account
- Click on either "Payment Requests" or "My Bookings", depending on which type of payment request you want to create. Please note that for payment requests without an open booking, you will need to be activated by the relevant client
- Click into the booking you want to settle: the green "Create payment request" button is on the left side of the dashboard
- If your client has already activated your account for payment requests, then:
- Click on the "Payment requests" button on the left side of the WorkGenius dashboard
- Then, click on the green "Create payment request" button in the upper right corner of the WorkGenius dashboard
- Please enter a title for the payment request (usually it is the same title of the booking), and specify whether you are listing alump sum or an hourly rate
- For a payment-per-hour, enter your actual working time for each day (only enter the times you worked–breaks and downtime should not be included)
- List the tasks you performed into the description box, as clearly as possible
- Click the blue button to save the daily hours recorded. That way, you can send all your hours as a single payment request to your client
- Once you have requested payment, the client will be notified and asked to release this payment. This can take up to 7-10 days, but usually happens much faster
- Once the payment is approved, the amount will be transferred to your Hyperwallet account within 28 days.
- As soon as the payment is available on your Hyperwallet account, you can transfer it to any bank account, for a monthly fee of just 1€ (WorkGenius will credit the 1€ back to your account)
- The invoice of the payment will be automatically generated as a PDF in the following month, and is available in your WorkGenius account under the "My payment" tab
