What is the difference between projects and bookings?

There are two types of assignments on our platform: Projects and Bookings.

 

Projects require a clearly defined “result” or outcome. For example, a translation from German to English delivers a “result” when the translation is delivered.

Projects matching your skills are visible directly in your project list. You can accept jobs with a click and start working on them immediately.

 

Bookings are assignments that are more open-ended, and where a customer wants to benefit from your expertise on an ongoing basis. The duration of the project isn’t determined by a set of deliverables, rather on how long a client wants to keep you.
